In Milan for La Scalla. Who is that on the far left? I keep wondering if I have a picture of Courtney Marvin somewhere. Does anyone else remember her? She was in the school for fall semester, but left at Christmas. The rumor I heard that she missed her father (Lee Marin) so much that she decided to complete High School back in the states. Did anyone every hear from her?

I remember Courtney Marvin because she was my roommate for a while. My memories are the same as yours - that she left because she was incredibly homesick for Dad and LA. Also do you remember about her sleepwalking episodes? Never heard what became of her.

I searched for her through Google and found this: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0555526/ She became a sound editor in the motion picture industry. She had an unusual spelling of her first name (Courtenay), which should make her easy to find. Unfortunately she seems to have stopped working in 1999. I hope that this does not mean something bad. If you look hard enough you can find a Courtenay Marvin who went to HS in Illinois, and one who donated to a cancer research center in ca. 2002 (or 2004), and a request for prayers for a Courtenay Marvin in the most recent newsletter from a church in Alabama. The picture that emerges is not a happy one, but of course this could all be based on random associations. She had a brother and two sisters. I have a phone number of someone with her sister's name who works in an aviation authority in California. I am trying to get up the nerve to call. Y'all encourage me now.
